7010 El Camino Del Norte, Rancho Santa Fe, California, United States, 92067

An architectural marvel made of magnificent redwood, glass and marble has been reduced to $28,000,000. The property had originally come on the market in 2016 as a 210 acre dream estate for $85,000,000. In 2017 the land was cut to 61.24 acres and the price reduced to $30,000,000. Completed in 1972, the 8,148 square foot home, designed by noted architect Fred Briggs, took more than three years to construct with celebrated designer Arthur Elrod creating the interiors. Distinguished by soaring, vaulted ceilings, with walls and beams of redwood that were milled on the property, radiant-heated marble floors and glass skylights and windows. An entire wing of the house has been dedicated to a magnificent indoor pool and spa encompassing nearly 4,000 square feet, while the master suite occupies a private second level. Three en suite bedrooms are located on a separate first-floor wing. The 61.24 acre property embraces acres of producing Valencia orange groves and includes a lake, guest house, tennis court and equestrian facilities. Approached via a very long driveway surrounded by mature landscaping and a brook, the home is far removed from the main road. Be sure to check out a video of the property here. It is on the market for $28,000,000 with Linda Sansone.
