32,000 Sq. Ft. Stone Castle on 73 Acres in Billings, MT Lists for $16M

A man’s home is his castle – at least in Billings, Montana. It’s said to be the largest residence ever built in Billings and with features such as turrets, a draw bridge and a complete stone exterior, this is quite literally a modern day castle. The 32,000 square foot mansion has been making headlines as early as 2014 when Harry Hoving, Billings Department of Planning and Community Development’s Building Division, had said he had never seen anything quite like the set of plans. Only a handful of exterior photos have been released by the agent, and while the structure appears to be finished, much of the landscape is in need of work and it’s unknown what the state of the interior is. The home was designed by Studio 4 Architects and built by Kisling Quality Builders. The owner, Larry Price Jr., was recently in federal custody and charged with making fraudulent statements to the FBI. According to Billings Gazette, Price Jr. allegedly staged his own abduction in April of this year with court filings revealing he owed excess of $11 million to various companies, those companies took the deed to the unfinished mansion. According to the listing, the home is equipped with ten bedroom suites, three swimming pools, a swim up bar, work out facility, two lane bowling alley, shooting range and a $43,000 home theatre. It sits on a 73 acre city lot about 20 minutes to downtown Billings. It’s on the market for $16,000,000 with Granite Realty
