Forbes Goes Inside the $90 Million Carolwood Estate
Holmby Hills, California, United States
When the Carolwood Estate hit the market late last year the internet was buzzing with interest. The 35,000 square foot mansion was built in 2001 by Gabriel Brener on a 3.7 acre estate previously owned by Mr. Walt Disney. According to Forbes Brener purchased the lot & Disney’s house for $8.45 million in 1998 from the Disney estate. He then knocked down Disney’s former home and built this mammoth palace. With 35,000 square feet the mansion includes 8 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, three bars, safe rooms, and quarters for staff.
When the property with a unique history was officially listed last year all that was uploaded to the listing was a single photo showing the swimming pool and rear side of the mansion – until now. Forbes has exclusively published a handful of interior shots including grand hallways, a breakfast nook, wine cellar, home theatre, the master suite, and plenty other. The estate is currently listed at a staggering $90 million with Mauricio Umansky of The Agency.
