What once stood at 24 Harbor Island?

Previously marketed as a “Landmark Georgian Colonial trophy estate,” what once stood at 24 Harbor Island is no longer.  Owned by the original owners up until last year, the unique, sprawling home of some 11,000 square feet was put up for sale with an asking price of $26,000,000.  It offered beautifully detailed formal living areas, 9 expansive bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

While we don’t know the sale price, the new owners decided to take down the home and re-list the double lot for some new family to build their dream home.  The new list price….$26,500,000.  The empty lot is being marketed as “a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a legacy estate on one of the most valuable and prestigious pieces of land on the West Coast.”  It also mentions that plans are available for an approved two-story, 9,000 square foot contemporary estate.
