Considered to be one of the crown jewels of Tiverton, the William Whiteridge Estate spans 22 acres and includes two historical homes. The expansive property has sold for $1.27 million after hitting the market in March 2020 for $1.35 million. The first home is a lovely Victorian with large porch, beautiful mansard roof, a third storey cupola and a stunning interior with two living rooms and dining room lined by oak trimmed windows. The eat-in kitchen features glassed cabinetry, gas stove and plenty of room for multiple cooks, family and guests with over 5,500 square feet of living space across three levels. The second home is a 1770 Colonial guest cottage that has been renovated top to bottom by the current owners. There is an updated kitchen, new tiled bathrooms, new floors, new lighting and beautiful finishes throughout. Both homes have been beautifully maintained and meticulously cared for. The handsome two-bay garage also offers plenty of loft storage space. Enjoy the beautiful meadows and walking paths the property offers, or just relax on the front porch and take in the natural surroundings with an abundance of wildlife. The William Whiteridge Estate was on the market for $1.35 million with Cherry Arnold of Sotheby’s International Realty.
