Villa Virginia is one of the last great Berkshire Cottages to be built in Stockbridge and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. Listing agent Patrice Melluzzo told Mansion Global that 95% of the house is original with upgrades such as new electric, a new slate roof and a new kitchen. Interior features include a curving marble staircase, a spacious library with two fireplaces and bookcases on three walls, original French doors, a large loggia with tile floors and painted vaulted ceiling and a main salon showcasing a coffered ceiling and oversized imported fireplace. The 58 acre estate also includes a free standing 5,000 square foot carriage barn/guest house with three horse stalls, tack room and four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, two fireplaces, roof top deck and a tower room.
