A substantial modern mansion perched on a hilltop in Yorba Linda, California is no more after selling for $9.8 million in 2019. The nearly 20,000 square foot residence had been on the market since 2014 for as much as $21 million. According to East Bay Times, the buyer, consumer product entrepreneur Loksarang D. Hardas, plans to build a new nearly 30,000 square foot residence in its place. The property will also include a 1,200 square foot guest house. Unique from the rest, the 20,000 square foot mansion was somewhat of a time capsule of luxurious 90s modern design, making it a very unique place. The residence included 9 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, vast walls of glass, sprawling terraces, a substantial indoor pool with hand-painted ceiling and wall of galleria-style windows and magnificent panoramic views of Orange County’s foothills, valleys & skylines, as well as the Pacific Ocean & Catalina Island. The grounds included level lawns, fountains, walking paths, a professional lighted tennis court & basketball court.
