4785 Drummond Drive, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
One of the largest privately owned estate homes in Vancouver’s ultra posh Point Grey area has sold for over $51-million CAD according to The Vancouver Sun. The 25,000 square foot European-styled Château sits on 2.7-acres and features extensive landscaped gardens, expansive lawns, a grass tennis court, a sports court, waterfalls, detached guest house, a self-contained studio, and breathtaking views of downtown Vancouver, Stanley Park, and the North Shore Mountains. The estate was the dream of Zynga CEO and former Electronic Arts employee, Don Mattrick, who purchased the property at 4785 Drummond Drive and commissioned world-class designers to create what is now one of Vancouver’s finest homes. Vancouver Sun reports that the new owner is Mailin Chen, a businessman from mainland China, who owns the company Chunghwa Investments (Canada) Ltd. Scroll down to see more photos.
