28,000 Sq. Ft. Canadian Palace Inspired By Palace of Versailles Lists For $14.888-Million

90 Rocmary Place, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, L4L 8Z1

Update: July 2017 Re-listed For $14.888-million CAD With over 28,000 square feet of interior space to explore, this behemoth of a home ranks near the top of the list of largest homes in Canada. When it hit the market in early 2014 for $17.8-million it was the most expensive house that had ever been listed in Vaughn, Ontario and one of the most expensive in all of Canada. Today, the gilded manor has dropped in price and can be nabbed for a little under $15-million. The home belongs to a European-Canadian entrepreneur who says it was inspired by her and her husband’s numerous trips to Europe. It features 6 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, an indoor pool, and even a Ferrari room. The interiors are filled with exotic marbles, numerous imported crystal chandeliers, hand-painted sculpted ceilings, and a grand formal entrance larger than a Vancouver special. Life in the Bridle Path of the North sure looks good. “It’s not for everybody, we do understand that,” the homeowner said. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to find a buyer and at what kind of discount. As of today it is listed for $14.888-million CAD with Paul Oulahen.
