5 More Insanely Priced Vancouver Homes

v994917_1“Take Your Breath Away” – $1,030,000

4650 Northview Ct., Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, V5H 1E3

The agent’s description reads, “This 3 bedroom home with extended kitchen will surely please your fussiest buyer.”  We’re not entirely sure what an extended kitchen is, but surely they can’t be referring to the 80’s kitchen that’s fitted in this home.  Aside from the beautiful hardwood flooring, most of these interiors have been left untouched for many years.  The house was built in 1955 and offers just over 2,000 square feet with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.  The lot size is unknown.

v975891_1“Unauthorized Accommodations” – $1,066,000

143 E 64th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V5X 2M3

This 25 year old brick & vinyl box houses three separate living quarters, two of which are unauthorized.  The 2,660 square foot floor plan includes a total of 6 bedrooms, 3 kitchens, and 4 ‘washrooms.’  The listing description says it’s ‘Priced to sell!!”  The house sits on a 4,538 square foot lot.

v987905_1“Starter Home” – $1,198,000

3077 W 16th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6K 3C8

In all honestly this listing is actually pretty charming.  Built in 1947 the home offers 1,729 square feet with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms.  The house was updated 17 years ago and still shows quite nicely.  The only reason this home is considered ‘Insanely Priced’ is that it’s being marketed as a ‘starter home.’  Who can afford $1,198,000 as a starter home!?

v995095_1“New Furnace Added” – $1,200,000

8190 Oak Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, V6P 4A7

This 1,965 square foot home was fully renovated in 2007, and includes a new roof and a new furnace.  Built in 1947, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house sits on a 5,761 square foot lot.  The description says, “Move in or build your dream home.”

v994945_1“Double Whammy” – $1,298,000

4271 Burke Street, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, V5H 1B5

Not only is this 2,868 square foot Vancouver home overpriced – but it doubles as a ‘Bad Listing Photo.’  The owner or agent’s assistant, whoever it may be, photobombed at the front door!  There is a very limited information with this listing.  There is no description, no additional photos, and no lot size.  We do know that the house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  What a steal for $1.3 million!!  I hope those patio chairs are included.
