Coastal Villa Remodelled Beyond Recognition in the United Kingdom
United Kingdom
This dramatic UK architectural transformation showcases a complete metamorphosis from a quirky, traditional home into an ultra-contemporary, Streamline Moderne luxury villa. Originally defined by a salmon-pink facade with mock-Tudor details, the property underwent a massive structural overhaul that entirely erased its pitched rooflines and rustic brick-and-stone boundaries. In their place, the remodel introduced a sleek, brilliant white render, tiered flat roofs with expansive glass-lined terraces, and bold, curved geometric wings. By trading heritage textures for clean minimalism and massive ribbon windows, the redesign perfectly captures a modern aesthetic focused on seamless surfaces, natural light, and high-end coastal luxury. The question remains, do you prefer the before or the after? Photography by Google Streetview.
