It seems since La Jolla’s Razor Residence was built in 2007 it’s been on and off the market ever since. It made its debut in 2008 with an ambitious list price of $32 million. It sat for years, slowly dropping a million here and a million there before selling in 2011 for $14 million to Donald Burns, CEO of magicJack, who continued to pour money into finishing the home. It was introduced on the market once more in 2018 for $30 million before dropping to $25 million in early-2019. Architectural Digest reported that American musician Alicia Keys purchased the 11,500 square foot residence for $20.8 million. Designed by renowned architect Wallace E. Cunningham and built in 2007, the 11,500 square foot home is named after its location on Razor Point and has been compared to Tony Stark’s modern mansion in the Iron Man films. The home, built of white concrete, stainless steel and expanses of glass in a cantilevered design, sits on a 0.77 acre property capturing breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean from every room. There are 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms throughout, as well as a detached guest house, stunning outdoor terraces, a rooftop entertaining space and large garage. Alicia Keys has a net worth of $100 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
