Osterville, Massachusetts, United States
Catalano Architects designed this spacious residence and accompanying buildings to serve as an inviting summer treat for the extended family of the owners. The firm explained the project on their website, “The sustainable and resilient program explores playful expressions of design through unique features such as curved roofs, interiors, and a single-loaded plan framing water views on either side.” The three-storey home sits on a waterfront property and is finished in traditional weathering entering materials of red cedar and local granite. The charming waterside pool house was designed to take full advantage of the ocean vistas and natural daylight. KVC Construction built the residence, Manuel DeSantaren designed the interiors and the landscape was designed by Hawk Design. Photography by Trent Bell.
