Actor Bruce Willis and wife Emma Heming Willis have decided to part with their sprawling 22.6 acre estate in Bedford Corners, New York. The property was put on the market in January 2019 for $13 million and sold in December for $7.66 million, 41% off the original asking price. Willis purchased the 9,000 square foot home in 2014 for $9 million with amenities including three additional homes, two garages, a 50-foot swimming pool, pool house and tennis court. Between all the homes, there are 12 bedrooms, 9 full and 3 half bathrooms. The interiors are open and bright with walls of windows and French doors taking in beautiful views of the Croton Reservoir. There are numerous fireplaces throughout providing warmth and charm, a gourmet kitchen with French doors opening to a patio and a vaulted master suite with private balcony. Town & Country Magazine revealed that Willis told the Wall Street Journal his family is selling the home because they are planning a move to the West Coast. The sale was one of the largest transactions to be recorded in Westchester in 2019.
