Brush Park’s c.1881 James V. Campbell Brought Back to Life

Brush Park, Detroit, United States

Another burnt out, semi-collapsed brick mansion in Detroit’s Brush Park is being saved from demolition and repurposed for a new use. The c.1881 James V. Campbell House on Alfred Street in Brush Park is in the process of being magnificently brought back to life and repurposed. Like many of the other Brush Park mansions we’ve shared, there are several photos on Flickr and Google showing the home in various states of disrepair. Original c.1881 photo found in the Burton Historical Collection, Detroit Public Library.
