Celine Dion lists Florida mansion for $72 Million

Canadian singer Celine Dion has listed her jaw-dropping Jupiter Island, Florida estate for a staggering $72 million.  The luxurious Bahamian inspired mansion was designed & custom built in 2010.  The five and a half acre property includes over 415 linear feet on the Atlantic Ocean and a backyard that would rival any world-class resort.  There are three swimming pools on the property – one at the rear by the ocean, and two connecting pools at the front creating a one-of-a-kind water park atmosphere.  Dion listed the estate with Canadian Sotheby’s agent Joseph Montanaro who also has her palatial 24,000 square foot French Chateau in Montreal listed at $29,650,000.

If both sell for asking Montanaro would get commission based on a $101,650,000 sale price.  Montanaro told Gossip Extra that Celine is selling the estate because she has signed a contract to perform in Las Vegas through 2019.  He goes on to say, “The house was really built for her family before the twins came along, so it’s not working as well as planned.”  Celine & her husband René Angélil slowly bought the land it currently sits on for a combined cost of $19.5 million.  The home does come with most of the furnishings with the exception of personal effects.  To see the full listing click here.
