Centreville, Maryland, United States
When complete it will be one of the largest, if not the largest, private home in Maryland. Annapolis-based architectural firm Purple Cherry Architects have been giving regular updates on the substantial project via their social media and project pages and have announced that it will be wrapping up this spring. The multi-year project has seen a substantial piece of property on the Chester River come to life with at least six structures including a 3,000 square foot timber frame barn. The property also includes the substantial main house, carriage house, guest house and garaging. In total, between all structures, there will be approximately 44,000 square feet of space. Very little has been revealed as to what the interiors will include or even look like but Purple Cherry Architects did reveal that the mansion will include a Chicago brick wine cellar and wine room. Also joining Purple Cherry Architects on the project is Annapolis-based landscape architecture firm CHLA Campion/Hruby. All photos found on Purple Cherry Architects project pages and Facebook page.
