Greg Glassman, co-founder of the fitness craze CrossFit, has just sold his beautiful Hawaiian home for $5.65 million according to Mansion Global. Glassman listed the property in 2019 for $7 million. The 4,300 square foot Hawaiian-style home features a wraparound lanai that overlooks the beautiful saltwater pool, ocean and the acres of coconut trees on the property. Moving inside you will find warm, open interiors with hardwood floors and rooms that all open to the lush outdoors. Each room offers walls of disappearing doors that open to the large covered porch. Both master suites have outdoor lava rock showers. As the co-founder of CrossFit, it is no surprise that the home includes a large home gym loaded with free weights and gym equipment. Glassman is also selling a neighbouring six acre lot for $2.5 million. The home was formerly owned by actor Sam Worthington and has hosted celebrity guests including Steven Spielberg. Glassman’s home was on the market with Sotheby’s International Realty.
Sotheby’s International Realty: Inside the home, the stunning interior décor, hand-selected by Interior Designer Stephen Zeffert, is a demonstration of superior artistry. Built by one of Kauai’s most sought after and relevant contractors, R.S. Weir, even the smallest of details were addressed. With tankless water heating, new A/C system, state of the art security and surveillance and a Vantage lighting system, there is nothing left to do, but relax and unwind – Kauai style. The two master suites are each accompanied by outdoor lava rock shower gardens while a meandering, covered lanai wraps the ocean facing side of home. The 20′ x 50′ saline pool is surrounded by natural basalt which accentuates the deep blue pacific hues beyond.
