
Derek Jeter’s 22,000 Sq. Ft. English-Inspired Manor to be Demolished

The 22,000 square foot English-inspired manor built by Yankees Hall of Famer Derek Jeter is reportedly set to be demolished. According to 10 Tampa Bay, the City of Tampa confirmed a demolition application had been initiated but not yet completed. It is unknown at this time if the owners are planning to build a new single family residence or subdivide the property. In 2005 and 2006, Derek Jeter purchased two adjacent lots to have his 22,000 square foot English-style manor built. Finished in 2011, the expansive mansion sits on 1.25 acres with 345-feet of open bay, and according to recent listing details is considered the “largest ever assembled waterfront property on Davis Islands”. In 2020, Jeter rented the massive residence to Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bündchen. Derek and his wife Hannah listed the mansion in September 2020 for $29 million before selling in May 2021 for $22.5 million.
