We first found this dilapidated Victorian mansion while browsing photos on Flickr. Clark Westfield captured the failing house in August 2008. We located it on Google Maps with the latest streetview imagery from October 2013 showing the residence mid-renovation. Vinyl siding has been installed on nearly every exterior wall, the original porch has been removed and rebuilt, fretwork has been removed and all the windows replaced. On one hand, we’re ecstatic that somebody stepped up to prevent the mansion from further deterioration, on the other hand, it’s disappointing so many of the original architectural elements have been removed and replaced with new generic materials. There’s very little information on the house. It appears to have been built in 1890. What do you think of the changes?
