Equinox Fitness Co-Founder Lists Contemporary Westchester Mansion for $8.8M

21 Sterling Road S, Armonk, New York, United States, 10504

If you’re looking for that five star experience but don’t want to leave the confines of your home, then this might be the place for you! According to Realtor, the idea behind the project was to serve as a model for a “hotel at home” living concept. Aptly named Five Star House, the nearly 12,000 square foot residence comes loaded with amenities dedicated for relaxation and fitness. There’s an indoor pool and spa, indoor basketball court and sports court, billiards room, home theatre and spa-like bathrooms. Vito Errico, co-founder of fitness club brand Equinox, had the residence built in 2006. Errico brought a few of his own ideas to the table when it came to designing the nearly 12,000 square foot home. Carol Kurth Architecture, PC brought the plan to life. Glass, stone and wood combine to create an unparalleled residence of luxury living. Impeccably crafted and hallmarked by a modern minimalist design aesthetic, it features perfect-proportioned living rooms framed by a granite wall and panels of glass that fill the residence with natural light. Additional discerning design elements include richly-hued American black walnut, limestone and white oak floors and customized architectural screens. In total there are six bedrooms, six full and one half bathrooms. The residence sits on a lush 2.65 acre property. The Five Star House is on the market for $8,888,888 with Houlihan Lawrence
