The former home of Elvis Presley and wife Priscilla went up for sale back in October 2012 for $12.995 million.  The 5,367 square foot Beverly Hills home was built in 1958 and was purchased by Elvis in 1967.  The couple split in 1973 and the home sold for $500K.  In more recent years the property was available to rent for $25,000/month.  It sits on a beautiful 1.18 acre lot with breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean and Downtown Los Angeles.  It’s been recently remodelled to include a new kitchen, new laundry room, and an updated swimming pool & spa.

Real Estalker obtained information that “the house remains remarkably intact from the time Mister Presley and Miss Priscilla owned it in the mid-to late-sixties.”  The property sold to Hard Rock Café founder Peter Morton in December for $9.6 million and he plans on razing the existing home and replace it with a brand new mansion.
