The home of Rodney P. Hunt is scheduled to head to auction on September 27, 2012.  Hunt made his fortune from his company, RS Information Systems, and became a major supplier of information technology and other services to the federal government until he sold it in 2007.  At the height of his success he had built a sprawling 20,000 square foot mansion on the Potomac River in McLean.  Rumour has it the home features an indoor basketball court, two-lane bowling alley, and  a 15-car garage!  Northern Virginia Magazine estimated Hunt’s net worth at $265 million in 2007, the year he sold the company.  The auction is said to be one of the biggest foreclosures in the region’s history.
