Inside Alan & Sandra Gerry’s Palatial 32,000 Sq. Ft. Compound in Florida’s Exclusive Port Royal Enclave

Gordon Drive, Naples, Florida, United States

It’s hard to miss Alan and Sandra Gerry’s sprawling oceanfront compound on Gordon Drive in Florida’s exclusive Port Royal enclave. The 32,000 square foot main house was designed by Herscoe Hajjar Architects and built between 2001 – 2002. Before construction began, the property was occupied by a much smaller home. According to Gulfshore Life, the Gerry’s decided to spare the home from demolition and instead move it to a nearby lot, where it is now owned by their son. No expense was sparred in the creation of the Gerry residence. Not only it is the largest home in Port Royal, but it also includes some of the finest detailing and woodwork you’ll find in any newer home. An article of Gulfshore Life from 2010 suggests the property was worth around $58,000,000. Today, just a few doors down, there is a smaller property on the market for $49,500,000Alan Gerry is an American billionaire and founder of Cablevision Industries, which he sold in 1996 to Time Warner Cable for $2,700,000,000. He also purchased and resurrected the original 1969 Woodstock Festival site.  While the home is not on the market, you can get an inside look at some pictures taken by the architect below.
