The island is lined with architecturally unique residences, including everything from beachfront bungalows to substantial estate properties, there is literally something for everybody. This fantastic oceanfront shingle style residence was designed by Christopher A. Rose and built by Buffington Homes in 2003. Property records reveal the 9,167 square foot home includes five bedrooms and eight bathrooms on a 0.56 acre property. The cabot blue shingled home rises four stories tall with two commanding brick chimneys, large turrets and a numerous balconies. Arrive under a groin vault porte cochère before entering the substantial formal entry with winding staircase and hand-painted walls by Karl Beckworth. The great room features a coffered ceiling with a wall of windows overlooking the ocean while the traditional formal dining room features raised panelled walls and twelve piece dentil moulding.
