American entertainer Jennifer Lopez purchased this lush Bel Air compound back in 2016 for $28 million. The residence was originally designed by famed architect Samuel Marx in 1954 before falling into a state of disrepair. Actress Sela Ward and her husband, Howard Sherman, purchased it in 2003 for $3.8 million and carried out an extensive renovation, eventually listing the 2.35 acre property in 2015 for $40 million. They accepted an offer of $28 million from Lopez in 2016. The nearly 14,000 square foot residence sits on a lush 8 acre estate with 7 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms.

The amenity-packed property comes complete with a 30-seat screening room, an art studio, guest house, 100-seat amphitheatre, pagoda with fire-pit, organic vegetable garden, entertaining pavilion and a swimming pond with sandy beach. In February 2017, Lopez began dating former New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and in March 2019, the couple announced their engagement. Daily Mail reported that it’s been rumoured the couple could tie the knot at their luxury property in Bel Air. Jennifer Lopez has an annual salary of $40 million and an estimated net worth of $400 million according to Celebrity Net Worth, while her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, is reported to be worth $350 million with an annual salary of $33 million.
