Weston, Massachusetts, United States

Billionaire businessman and entrepreneur Jim Pallotta chose Weston, Massachusetts to build a dream property for his wife and children. Pallotta commissioned Kenneth Vona Construction to bring their plans to life and SLC Interiors to design the 21,000 square foot interiors. Original plans had called for nearly 28,000 square feet of space. According to Boston.com, the house took approximately two years to build with another year of planning, resulting in a “employment bonanza” for those involved in the project. The residence is nestled on a 27.5 acre estate that Pallotta purchased from Regis College for $9,300,000, and according to Boston.com, another small adjacent property was acquired at a later date to construct a carriage house with eight garage bays. Valued in excess of $21,000,000, the sprawling mansion is said to offer 20 rooms with 5 bedrooms, a sun room, formal living and dining room, large kitchen, a 12-seat home theatre, music room, game room and attached four-car garage. The property is undeniably beautiful with formal gardens and lawns, fountains, a 50-foot swimming pool, pool house and tennis court. Jim founded Raptor Group, a private investment company, in 2009, and is also the co-owner of Italian football club A.S. Roma and co-owner of the Boston Celtics. His net worth is $1 billion.
