Legendary filmmaker James Cameron has just listed his sprawling compound that includes two mansions for a whopping $25 million in Malibu’s Serra Retreat as reported by Variety. Cameron, whose films have grossed $6 billion in the worldwide box office according to Variety, purchased the first property for $3.475 million in 1989 and the second estate in 2003. Both estates have a combined total of 16,000 square feet, 11 bedrooms, 10 full bathrooms and 3 half bathrooms, and sit on over 4 acres. According to listing details, the massive compound also has two “fully equipped chef’s kitchens, formal and informal dining rooms, several living rooms, offices, a theatre room and bonus rooms”.

The estate also includes two swimming pools, two spas, and “off-street parking for more than two dozen cars with garaging for eight of them” (Variety). The Serra Retreat is no stranger to celebrities. Across from Cameron’s property was previously owned by Olivia Newton John and the home next door was owned by Britney Spears and her former husband Kevin Federline. Current celebrities that live in that exclusive area include Patrick Dempsey, David Charvet, Larry Ellison, Dick Van Dyke, and Brad Delson of Linkin Park. The home is currently on the market with Josh and Matt Altman of The Altman Brothers Team at Douglas Elliman for $25 million.
