Joe Biden’s $4.7M McLean Rental is a Mini Brick “White House”

Joe Biden has his eye on the White House, so much so, that he started renting a home in Virginia that resembles a scaled brick version of the President’s House after leaving the vice presidential quarters at the Naval Observatory in 2016. As reported by the Washington Post, Biden is renting the home from Mark Ein, a wealthy venture capitalist who purchased it for $4.25 million in June 2016 and also lives right next door. Guest of a Guest reported recently that Biden could be paying as much as $19,000 a month based on estimates by Zillow. According to The Washington Post, the former vice president has made millions of dollars since leaving the White House, earning as much as $200,000 per speech. The house, once owned by Alexander Haig, former secretary of state, comes gated and is described as being on McLean’s sought after Gold Coast with a flexible floor plan with generous room sizes, floor-to-ceiling windows and a renovated kitchen. The listing mentioned that the property enjoys seasonal river views and can accomodate parking for up to 20 vehicles. The property was previously on the market in 2015 for as much as $7 million.
