American podcast host, Joe Rogan, is taking his podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” to Texas. The comedian signed a whopping $100 million exclusive partnership with the music streaming service Spotify and has purchased a massive mansion in Austin, Texas for $14.4 million. The nearly 11,000 square foot abode features 8 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and is situated in a quiet neighbourhood along the Colorado River. The home was previously owned by architect Benjamin Wood and wife Theresa Castellano-Wood who gave the home a well welcomed modern makeover. The modern exterior features stone construction and a metal roof with energy efficiency in mind. The property also features two attached garages and a carriage house with plenty of room for water toys. Outside you’ll also find a motor court with a pathway leading to the front door. The interior is where the home really shines with pops of Mediterranean inspiration and vibrancy, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances. Out back the chic estate also sports a saltwater pool, solarium and covered patio to escape the Texas heat. The area of Lake Austin is no stranger to celebrities as some of the neighbouring homes are owned by “haircare billionaire John Paul DeJoria and Sandra Bullock”, according to Dirt.com.  The estate was sold for $14.4 million in an off-market deal.
