Legendary rockstar and Kiss frontman Gene Simmons has sold his Beverly Hills mansion for $16 million. Simmons purchased the property with his wife, Shannon Tweed Simmons, in 1986 for $1.3 million. The couple put the property on the market in 2020 for $22 million and again in early-2021 for $25 million. Renovated in 2000, the 16,000 square foot residence offers 7 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a swimming pool, 60-foot waterslide, professional tennis court and enough parking for 35 cars! Interior features include a 40-foot-high foyer with curved staircase, double-height windows, numerous fireplaces and a mezzanine overlooking the formal living room. There is also a double island kitchen opening to a family room with coffered ceiling. You might recognize the property from the A&E television show “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” which ran from 2006 to 2012. Realtor reported that Gene and Shannon are relocating to Washington State. Gene Simmons’ Benedict Canyon estate was on the market for $19.9 million with Josh and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman. Photography and information found on agent’s website.
