The Los Angeles Times reported that Hallyday, who died in 2017 at age 74, purchased the 0.44 acre property in 2009 for $4.5 million and had his nearly 12,000 square foot residence built a year later. Hallyday was known to many as the “French Elvis” and is commonly credited for having brought rock and roll to France.
