After admiring it for nearly a decade, we jumped on the opportunity to spend a week relaxing here! This celebrity owned lake house exceeded every expectation we had. The architecture, details and quality of materials are second to none! Known locally as the “Hobbit” house, the residence rises three stories and includes a fourth level rooftop deck spanning the entire length of the structure. The interior is full of custom details including an extensive use of wood, soaring ceilings, a brick fireplace, steel beams, stained glass windows and a massive gourmet kitchen with an adjoining breakfast booth. Perhaps the most striking element of the residence is the massive stone staircase providing access from the grass driveway to the front door!
