Updated Listing Here
So few people can actually call Vancouver home due to the ridiculous housing costs and those that can just seem to buy and sell within a year without ever laying roots or even knowing their neighbours. In this case, this spacious Cotswold cottage-style residence in Vancouver’s ritzy Shaughnessy neighbourhood is back on the market after selling just 6 months ago. Truly one of Vancouver’s most unique homes, it’s been described by the Vancouver Heritage Foundation as a remarkably intact, huge Arts & Crafts home, with a rolled shingled roof mimicking the thatched roofs found in England. The heritage property came on the market earlier this year for $8.998-million before selling on April 20th for $7.5-million, a substantial discount from the original ask price. Today, the residence is back on the market with a different agent, but with the exact same listing photos & exact same write-up for $9.88-million – a $2.38-million increase from what they paid on April 20, 2015. It will be interesting to see what happens with this listing in Vancouver’s red hot real estate market.
