Ryan Murphy, American screenwriter, director and producer responsible for acclaimed television shows like Glee, American Horror Story and Ratched, has sold his 1.24 acre property in Laguna Beach for $10.7 million. Murphy listed the coastal compound in 2018 for $18.75 million. According to Realtor, “Murphy acquired part of the property in Laguna Beach for $4.5 million in 2005, and proceeded to buy an adjacent parcel in 2007 for a little under $3 million. He combined the two parcels and toyed with the idea of selling them as a package, listing the property for $8 million in 2011”. The 6,217 square foot residence was completely redesigned by renowned architect Mark Singer with interior design by Cliff Fong. The secluded compound offers 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, sits on over an acre, and features luxury amenities including a two-storey pool pavilion, pool, spa-style bath, an outdoor kitchen, walled gardens and your own personal herb garden right outside the master suite. The spacious estate definitely gives off an extremely coastal vibe and the floor-to-ceiling glass walls, skylights and folding doors definitely help with the airy feel.  The compound was most recently listed in July 2020 for $12.5 million with Kevin Augunas and Chris Cortazzo of Compass Realty.
