One of the great estates in Beverly Hills, set on 1.38 acres and hedged for total privacy, has sold for $24.5 million. The property last sold in 2017 for $25 million and hit the market in September 2019 for $32.5 million. The Los Angeles Times revealed in a 2019 article that the estate was purchased in the 1930s by L.K. Sidney, an early CBS producer and former president of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, for $50,000. They also revealed that decades later, producer of The Terminator, Gale Anne Hurd, called the property home.

Completely remodelled and ready for a modern family, the 15,291 square foot residence features a gorgeous living room that overlooks formal gardens, a custom media room, large dining room, wonderful family room, wine room and an open eat-in kitchen plus outdoor dining pavilion. The property includes the main house and a second home with kitchen, professional gym, offices and 3 bedroom suites. In total there are 9 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Magnificent grounds with mature landscaping, rolling lawns, a large pool, spa and cabana enhance the property. There is also garage space for 7 cars with the ability to have an additional 10 car behind the gates. The property was on the market for $32.5 million with Steve Frankel of Coldwell Banker.
