A brand new spec mansion owned by English insurance magnate Sir Peter Wood has sold on South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach for $37.25 million. The Palm Beach Post Reported the sale, stating that the mansion is immediately north of Wood’s private residence at the corner of Via Marina and South Ocean Boulevard. Designed by Smith & Moore Architects with Marc-Michaels Interior Design, the home includes 8 bedrooms, 11 full and 4 half bathrooms, staff quarters, a guest studio, multi-car garage, stone and wood flooring as well as a swimming pool. Mansion Global reported that Wood first put the unfinished mansion on the market in 2016 for $38.9 million. As construction continued, the price increased. When the property was finished in 2017 it hit the market for $43 million. The mansion sits on a 0.72 acre property with private access to the water across the street.
