Serial Killer Jeffrey Dahmer’s Ohio Home Up For Sale

The childhood home of serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer has come on the market for $295,000 according to the Associated Press.  The 2,170 square foot home was built in 1952 and offers 3 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms on a large 1.55-acre lot in Akron, Ohio.  A year after the home was built it was featured in the Akron Beacon Journal praising the modern architecture.

The Associated Press says, “Dahmer and his parents moved into the house in 1968 when he was 8 years old.  Ten years later, he committed his first murder there, killing a hitchhiker he had brought home and then burying the remains in the woods.”  Dahmer moved out of state in 1982 and killed 16 people before being caught in 1991.  The property is listed with Richard Lubinski who told the Associated Press, “This is not a museum.”  It will only be shown to serious buyers.
