Tofino’s Pacific Sands Resort Listed For Sale

The owner’s of one of British Columbia’s finest beachfront resorts have decided to list the property for sale after 40 years of ownership.  Times Colonist reports that the Pettinger family, who started the resort as a mom-and-pop operation, have listed the 41.2 acre resort which includes 77 suites, and two single-family residences.  The Resort includes three separate parcels that comprise a total of 41.2 acres.  18 of those 41.2 acres are zoned as “C5 Tourist Commercial” with the possibility of future development on the remaining 23.2 acres which are currently zoned as “A3 Forest Rural District.”

The resort overlooks the world renowned Cox Bay in Tofino with over 1,000 feet of beachfront and fully encompasses Pettinger Point.  No price has been put on the resort, instead interested parties are urged to enter a negotiated bid process.  The property has been listed exclusively with Randy Holt of DTZ Victoria.   Visit Pacific Sands for information on staying at the resort.
