Tour a Whimsical Garden Estate in Delta, BC by Paul Sangha Landscape Architecture
Delta, British Columbia, Canada
Vancouver may have some of the highest priced real estate in British Columbia but beautiful estate properties can also be found in surrounding cities. We’ve found a beautiful bluff top garden estate in Delta, British Columbia. The 12,000 square foot traditional château was designed by Grant Sinclair Architects for the late George Hodgins, founder of development firm Century Group. It was his vision and dedication that paved the way for many of Tsawwassen’s subdivisions. GA Studio who worked on designing the home describes it as a, “formal estate home designed and constructed to the discriminating standards of the 17th and 18th century.” The expansive whimsical bluff top property was landscaped by Paul Sangha Landscape Architecture and Fossil Landscape, the two created a welcoming garden with various varieties of plantings, meandering pathways and fountains overlooking the Strait of Georgia. According to EvalueBC, the home was built in 1996 with three bedrooms and six bathrooms, sits on a 1.12 acre property and is valued at $5,886,000 CAD. There are a handful of sketches and floor plans showing various areas of the home below.
