Underground Mansion Lists in Las Vegas

A spacious 16,000 square foot underground mansion has been listed for just $1.6 million in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Listing agent Winston King takes us on a tour of this unique offering.  He explains the self sustaining residence includes a wet bar, swimming pool, a guest house, lights that reflect the time of day, a sauna, dance floor, and a putting green.  All of that is set about 26 feet below ground.  Several of the walls are covered in murals done by an artist over the span of three years.  The underground mansion was built in 1978 at a cost of close to $10 million for a board member of Avon who reportedly had a concern about the Cold War/end of the world.  Zillow shows the property selling in 2005 for $2 million.   To see the full listing click here, and for a variety of pictures click here.
