Vancouver Mansion in ‘Happy Gilmore’
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
I set out to find the location of the Victorian mansion in Happy Gilmore and I succeeded! After studying the roofline for a few minutes I opened up Google Maps and within two minutes of searching the streets of Vancouver I found the spectacular residence. It’s set on a beautiful street in the prestigious Shaughnessy area. There is very little public information about the home, which is why I’ve decided to keep the address private. The film is based around Happy Gilmore (Adam Sandler) an aspiring ice hockey player who turns to golf to raise money for his grandmother. The mansion is owned by Happy’s grandmother who is about to lose it due to $270,000 of unpaid taxes. The movie was filmed in and around Vancouver, BC including the prestigious Swan-e-Set Bay Resort & Country Club in Pitt Meadows, BC in 1995. Other than the location I couldn’t find any additional information on the house.
